There isn’t much longer to wait for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which has the potential to be among the greatest phones of 2023. Samsung will introduce the S23 series on February 1 at Galaxy Unpacked 2023.
The standard Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus are also anticipated, but the Ultra will be the flagship model and include the most advanced specs and capabilities.
Even if the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be announced shortly, a lot of information about it has already leaked, so you don’t even need to wait until then. All of the reliable rumors and leaks that have so far surfaced are included below.

RELEASE DATE AND PRICE OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA
A statement is anticipated on February 1st.
Perhaps a little bit more than the previous year’s price.
On February 1, Galaxy Unpacked 2023 is anticipated to welcome the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This begins on February 1 at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. GMT, or 5 a.m. AEDT for those in Australia.

Although the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s release date has not been officially announced, a leak suggests that it will occur on February 17. Although you may currently reserve one if you’re in the US, we anticipate that you’ll be able to place your order shortly after the announcement.
Though it appears from reports that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost more than the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which for comparison starts at $1,199.99/£1,149/AU$1,849. Hopefully, you’ve been saving.
One price leak for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra indicates that it will cost $1,249 for a model with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM would reportedly cost $1,349, and 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM would cost $1,499, according to reports.
Additionally, we’ve heard that the phone could cost as much as AU$1,950 in Australia.
Although there hasn’t been any information on pricing in the UK as of yet, it appears likely based on recent leaks that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost between £50-£100 more than the S22 Ultra, with a starting price of between £1,200 and £1,250.
It’s important to keep in mind, though, that reports indicate the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will launch with 256GB of storage as standard, as opposed to the S22 Ultra’s 128GB. In that scenario, the pricing doesn’t seem so bad when you contrast the speculated S23 Ultra beginning prices with the S22 Ultra’s 256GB variant ($1,299.99/£1,249/AU$1,999).
DESIGN OF THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 ULTRA
An S22 Ultra design that is quite comparable
likely to come in at least four color options
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra might resemble the S22 Ultra quite a bit, at least externally. This implies an angular, all-screen design, a rear nearly rippling with cameras, and an S Pen pen slot that will undoubtedly be present.
Renders, marketing photos, dummy units, and cases are only a few examples of the many photographs that demonstrate this apparently.

One leak suggests that the S23 Ultra will weigh 233g and measure 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm, compared to the current model’s 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm and 228g. Similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, we anticipate an IP68 certification for water resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s hues, which according to several rumors include Cotton Flower (white), Misty Lilac (pink), Botanic Green, and Phantom Black, maybe the only cosmetic change between the old and new phones. Although many other leaks indicate hues that appear to match those, those are evidently their official names.
However, we have also heard the names that appear to be official quite a bit and seen renderings of them, some of which you can see above and below.
Display leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra allude to a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz display.
more vibrant and resilient than previously
We don’t anticipate seeing much innovation from the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s display, which is expected to have a 6.8-inch 1440 x 3088 AMOLED screen with 500 pixels per inch, HDR10+ compatibility, and a 120Hz variable refresh rate (that can drop as low as 1Hz).
According to the same source, the screen will be shielded by upgraded Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which should be more durable than the protection on the S22 Ultra’s display.
There’s a fair probability that this is accurate because we’ve heard a less specific version of these screen specifications elsewhere as well.
Increased Affiliate Commission Rates at Amazon
Another improvement to the screen might be its brightness, which could reach 2150 nits or higher, up from the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 1750 nits, according to a rumor.
